What an incredible evening for our Invasives team at the Green Apple Awards. Originally scheduled to take place at Parliament, the ceremony was rescheduled multiple times due to COVID, but it was well worth the wait. As a result of the development of our bespoke mobile processing system and the impact it has made, we’re delighted to have won not only one but two prestigious national golds for Environmental Best Practice in Construction and the Land Remediation Categories, classifying Ebsford as ‘Environmental Ambassadors’.

A big congratulations to our Invasives team responsible for delivering such successful schemes over the last decade. Every single person who has worked on, managed, secured and delivered our screening projects, written reports and RAMS, designed and written literature, down to every individual who has picked on the belts over the years.

The idea was conceived from one of our Founding Directors, Mark Prout, who after many years of soil screening experience realised a real solution to a real problem. Created and developed over 8 years, the Enviroscreen20-20TM system is a complex sorting solution, designed specifically to treat Japanese knotweed. The system was developed with the aim of challenging the mass disposal of soils to landfill, offering the industry a sound alternative, reducing haulage vehicle movements, maintaining landfill capacity, reducing the carbon footprint of projects and limiting community impacts, with the goal of providing a client with a clean site for future development in a cost effective and sustainable manner.

If you’d like to find out more about how we eradicate Japanese knotweed through our unique screening solution, please watch the short clip below:
